Polycystic Kidney Disease

CPDTime.
10m of CPD
Polycystic kidney disease (PKD) is a predominantly genetic condition causing cysts (fluid-filled blisters) to grow on the kidneys. These cysts gradually enlarge the kidneys as they grow, causing healthy kidney tissue to be compressed. Eventually, this impairs kidney function and in some cases, leads to kidney failure.

There are so many different subjects on Ausmed! I thought it'd be hard to find the resources I need for complicated procedures or rarer conditions, but they've had everything I've looked for so far.
