What is it like to see the world through the eyes of a person with dementia? Using video and animation, this Dementia Training Australia micro-course gives an introduction to the concepts of empathy and person-centred care.

After completing this module, staff should be able to:
  • Define empathy
  • Be aware of the experiences of living with dementia, from the point of view of the person living with the condition
  • Define ‘person-centred’ support and care
