Madelyne Faber is a Clinical Nurse Educator within Medical and Interventional Services at John Hunter Hospital, Hunter New England Health. She is a Registered Nurse with over eight years of clinical nursing experience, all of which has been gained within a fast-paced acute care hospital environment. Madelyne holds dual master’s qualifications in Acute & Critical Care and Clinical Education, as well as a Bachelor of Nursing (Clinical Honours). Madelyne's clinical background has a strong specialty focus in Respiratory Nursing, supported by acute care experience across Immunology, Dermatology, Rheumatology and General Medicine. Throughout her career, she has worked in a range of acute clinical roles, including Registered Nurse, Clinical Nurse Specialist, Acting Case Manager, including secondment within After Hours Education. Madelyne is passionate about nursing education and professional development and is committed to supporting both new and experienced staff through competency development, skills assessment, and career progression in the acute care setting. She is approachable and values working collaboratively with individuals to support their development. Her goal is to empower nurses to be confident, capable, and proud professionals who deliver safe, high-quality, patient-centred care in an acute environment.
