Biography
Erin is a Registered Nurse with over eleven years of experience, including nine years in critical care Emergency settings. She holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Emergency Nursing and has extensive expertise in the care of acutely unwell paediatric patients, where early recognition of deterioration and timely intervention are critical to patient outcomes. She is a Clinical Nurse Specialist and Emergency Department Educator at a leading paediatric trauma centre, where she leads the design and delivery of education across the nursing workforce. Her role includes supporting novice nurses in developing foundational skills and advancing experienced clinicians in the management of high acuity presentations, including resuscitation. Her professional interests include paediatric emergency care, resuscitation, and ventilation. She is dedicated to translating evidence-based practice into accessible learning, supporting postgraduate study, and promoting safe, high quality, family centred care.
