With such a high prevalence, it is likely that all healthcare professionals working in inpatient settings will encounter patients with diabetes often. Ongoing education on understanding best-practice diabetes management and care is therefore essential to all those working in inpatient settings.

Purpose

The purpose of this course is to enhance the care of patients with diabetes in inpatient settings and encourage healthcare providers to consider diabetes care as part of a holistic approach to patient treatment.
